Clouds over the French Broad River
It seems like a very long time since Jim Hatchell & I got together for a few days of fishing so I was happy to have a visit to Asheville, NC in mid May for a little fishing and visiting.

We spent the better part of a rainy day driving down back-roads looking for fishing spots and photo-ops. Though the fish were a bit difficult to come bye, the beautiful places were everywhere we looked.

Jim made a day of photographing beautiful places while I stood by and held an umbrella, tripod or banjo as the spirit moved me.
Fish Taco dinner – yum!
We ate well – like this fish taco dinner at a pub in downtown Ashville. We’ll have to do it again when the fish are biting better and our ladies can come along.
A great few days that ended all too soon.
