On our way home from Providence last April, we stopped to visit our friends Sheila and Mike in Bel Air, Maryland.
One morning, we decided to visit the village of Havre De Grace at the confluence of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay. Once a busy port, Havre De Grace is now a cruising, tourist and sailing mecca – we scored on all 3 points so it sucked us right in.
Mary picked up a new friend while shopping while Mike & I took up people watching on the waterfront.
We managed to walk, shop eat and relax all in a balmy afternoon. You can see what hard-driving vacationers we are.
As usual, the visit was far too short but that is what keeps us coming back. We’ll so it again next time we travel North. Thanks for the hospitality Sheila & Mike.
