The past few days have produced a remarkable transformation in East Tennessee.
The winter was so mild here that have been seeing signs of a very early Spring as the grass started growing and the leaves began to swell and burst into view.
Mary’s prized pink dogwood burst on the scene almost overnight and for the first time we were sure it really was pink.
Everywhere we look, Spring appears to be upon us even though we are almost a month ahead of our average last frost.
Maybe Mother Nature is just in a hurry to get things going this year.
My “Charlie Brown Christmas tree” spread it’s leaves in brilliant Red against a backdrop of Boston Fern and a bird feeder.
It is time to enjoy.
Wow! That’s a REALLY pink dogwood! It’s beautiful! We had our Japanese Maple in a container for awhile but then planted it in the ground once we moved to Pfafftown. It really took off then growing to about 15 feet in 5 years!
