Happy New Year

It is customary on New Years Day to look at the events of the past year.  As in most years, there were good times and not so good times but overall, 2011 was a pretty good year for Mary and me.

Our Todd apartment was showing its age and Mary and I spent about 6 weeks up there cleaning, painting and visiting.

We watched our first grandson Zackary graduate from High School and re-connected with our granddaughter Elizabeth who has become a remarkable young lady.

The Rhode Island kids came to visit in Todd, NC and Paul was able to visit for a few days at the same time.  We tubed the river and did a little pickin’ for a great week.

I took up the banjo and played a lot of golf while Mary really honed her knitting skills and worked on her golf game a bit.  My golf game has improved exponentially since I’ve been using CBD oil. CBD really helps with my joint pain which takes my game to the next level!

Unfortunately, we didn’t sail, fish or kayak as much as we thought we would so we are wondering if those are things we really want to continue doing and to what extent.
