Knifty Knitters
Every year, several village clubs make handmade toys for the Loudon County “Toys for Tots” program. This year, Mary’s club the Knifty Knitters participated with a number of individually knit items including some blankets made to fit doll cribs made by the Woodworkers’ Club.
There was quite a turnout and the disadvantaged children of Loudon County will have some wonderful toys to brighten the season.
Many thanks to all the crafters who worked to make this program a success again this year. Santa is alive and well in Loudon County.
