Getting her wet.

Today was our first launch and sail in S/V Silver Lining. After a couple of false starts, we arrives at the lake and rigged and launched in about 45 minutes. (Mary & I hadn’t done this in a couple of years so I believe our rig/launch time was acceptable.)
We filled the ballast tank and fired up the untried outboard – no water flow as feared – will need to address this when we pull the boat next week.
With a gentle push, we moved from the ramp and hoisted sail. Since this was our “Get acquainted” outing, we basically took it easy on the boat and ourselves. Everything worked and nothing broke so it was a successful outing.
